The situation
A construction company competing in France, where the decision gets made almost entirely on evidence of past work. The site had to put finished projects front and centre and turn interest into an enquiry detailed enough to price, rather than listing services and hoping.
What was built
- 01 A page for each type of work undertaken
- 02 Project portfolio with photography and detail
- 03 Qualifying contact form covering project type, scale and timeline
- 04 French-language content throughout
- 05 Content management for projects and services
- 06 Technical SEO and performance work
Details that mattered
Finished work leads the page
The portfolio is the main conversion surface rather than a gallery buried in the footer. Each project carries enough detail for a prospect to recognise their own job in it.
Enquiries you can quote
The form asks for project type, scale and timeline up front, so the first reply can be a useful answer instead of the first of five clarifying emails.
Written for its market
Fully French, structured for local search, and fast on a phone. Which is where someone standing on a building site is actually reading it.
What it changed
- Past work is the first thing a prospect sees
- Enquiries arrive with the detail needed to quote
- New projects get added in-house
